Two Witches (Probably Off-Topic)

In this episode, we talk about our own plans for Samhain and then dive into all the spooky Halloween stories – historical legends and superstitions, modern urban myths and scary tales, and why we dress up and carve Jack’o’lanterns.  We cover Bloody Mary, Slenderman, pookahs, Stingy Jack, and the infamous Bunny Man, among others, as well as whether Mr. Peanut would agree to be roasted for divination purposes.  We also include some of our own spooky experiences.  Multiple tangents occur including discussion of a local park, a Rolling Stones song that you didn’t know you knew, and how the news used to be less depressing.  Shout out to Morbid Podcast and the Closet Historian.  Trigger warning for discussion of historic murder cases involving children.Also, correction – the Morbid episode about the girls hiking took place in Panama, not Puerto Rico.
